Saturday 15th November: NIKE X PEDRO LOURENÇO

I have become a fully fledged fitness freak with running being the most loved part of my life and a new way to explore the world.  With that I'm getting into the gear and making room in my wardrobe for a whole new section of sportswear.  I never saw this coming and pleasantly surprised as active-wear is so much more than the spandex you first imagine.  I'm beginning to learn what DryFit fabrics to invest in and what length leggings are appropriate for different activities.  NIKE have just collaborated with Brazilian designer Pedro Lourenço on a training collection to combine performance and luxury.  It's a modern interpretation of athletic apparel and I was lucky enough to go to the launch where we got to wear it for a specially devised workout with master trainer Lee Mullins.  Each girl in the class had been given a different variation of pieces from the collection and mine comprised of skirted leggings which is a dream development to the basic - no feeling of being exposed wearing these!  The mesh crew is super soft with rubberised felted trim as if it has been flocked which feels so comfy in the gloved cuff.  The most cosmic part is the  Nike Free 5.0 TR Fit 4 shoes made from 3M to be reflective and flash under lights when you run - which you can see here in my photos from the class.  Find out more about the project over on the NIKE Store

To keep this page from turning into a Women's Health site, I have set up a fitness focused blog "Running Rainbow" on Hunger Magazine ........... so head over if you are on a similar sporty tip........... here.

Thursday 13th Nov: WAH London "Ultimate Nail Art Kit"

Last night Sharmadean Reid held a party to launch the latest in her WAH LONDON line - the "Ultimate Nail Art Kit".  Here is Susie Bubble looking fantastic as ever in her deft way of fusing pieces that combine colour, texture and detail........... a baby-blue fur coat, silver metallic leather shirt, neon pink PVC skirt over sheer baggy trousers and Meadham Kirchhoff glitter, ruffle, pom-pom platform sandals.  MAGIC !

Thursday 13th Nov: MTV EMA's in Glasgow

From France I then travelled to Scotland!  The MTV EMA's were held in Glasgow this year and I went along with a group of East London dj's and performers to entertain at the after-show party.  To mark the occasion of the double decade, there was a theme of "Time Machine" which we matched with our looks and music whilst the venues were lit UV like a scene out of BladeRunner.   The ceremony was hosted by Niki Minaj and featured live performances from herself and others such as Charli XCX which was a lush opportunity for a catch-up!

Weds 12th Nov: PARIS = Sonia Delaunay at Musée d’Art Moderne

No words needed for this post - the pictures speak for themselves - GLORIOUS!  This is an incredible lengthy retrospective of Sonia Delauney's work "Les Couleurs de l'abstraction" which is on its way to the Tate Modern between 15 April & 9 August 2015 so the UK won't miss out!

Weds 12th Nov: PARIS = The Foundation Louis Vuitton

I swore in the previous post describing exhibitions in Paris as bloody brilliant ........ well I'm going to have to go further with this one and say it is FUCKING AMAZING!  That is the Foundation Louis Vuitton.  You could easily rock up and bathe in the beauty of the building for free without paying the entrance fee to see the gallery cocooned inside this sic-fi Frank Gehry architectural feat.  It's as if it has flown in from another planet and planted itself in the glorious gardens of the Jardin d'Acclimatation.  I was absolutely blown away and then doubly smacked with excitement when I discovered that a few of my favourite artists were the commissioned practitioners in the current curated collection within.  Here are photos of the Olafur Eliasson's "Inside The Horizon" which takes over the basement space, flooding it with yellow light and a succession of mirrored pillars that act as a kaleidoscope when you walk along the gangway that intersects the water of the Grotto.  I also loved the Cerith Wyn Evans "A-F-L-O-A-T" sound sculpture of 20 glass flutes hung in the shape of an eclipse, playing notes composed in response to the gallery's architecture.  I'm going to have to re-visit this place as soon as I can because the day of my visit the auditorium was closed which features a rainbow chromatic stage curtain by Ellsworth Kelly!!!!!!  Could this get any better!!!  GAH!!

Weds 12th Nov: "Inside" at Palais De Tokyo

Exhibitions in Paris are bloody brilliant and more often than not, bloody massive and extensive (see Niki De Saint Phalle from last month).  Here are a few snaps from the latest show at Palais De Tokyo called "Inside" with works by:  MIKHAIL KARKIS & URIEL ORLOWSOOKOON ANGBERDAGUER & PEJUS

Weds 12th Nov: PARIS
